I am a big fan of clever ways to keep organic waste out of the landfills - which is precisely what this product does. As far as being a potting mix, I have transplanted a root-bound rosemary plant, and after 3 days it appears to be very happy in the new medium. Time will tell for sure how this potting mix performs, but so far I'm quite pleased.If you are a persnickety gardener, you should keep in mind that this product is made predominantly from shredded paper waste, so it looks and smells like wet newspaper. It is not a dark, natural topsoil color but rather grey.
