The old pair feel more comfortable in my hand-not as chunky. Both are full size tweezers (not travel size). These new, much less expensive pair of tweezers work the same as my 20 year old high end much more expensive pair of tweezers. They both grab most hairs (primary use is for eye brows). However, I actually prefer my old pair bc they are just smaller and easier to use. They're more comfortable in my hand. I will be keeping them as an extra pair of tweezers that I can throw in my make up bag. Am I happy with what I got for the price? YES. Will these REPLACE my old pair? NO. I will continue to use my old tweezers with the new Guru as my back-up pair. I do not have anything else to compare these tweezers with. Are they better than other tweezers that you can purchase for the same price? I don't know.
