Will this help him?** A: No. This is low in fat which is why it's so healthy. Millet has a lot of fat in it. I would consult a vet though. Gaining weight is not normal. Hope this helps. **Q: Just i bought it for my cockatiels but seems never like it , is normal for the first time** A: It is an extremely healthy diet, but if your bird is used to something else, you should mix the 2 diets together to slowly introduce the new, and give less and less of the old diet over a week or so. Also, for cockatiel you should feed the "crumble" size pellets so he can eat it easier. Their beaks can't break up the bigger pellets. **Q: Packaging problems on my last bag has anyone received a bag in a padded envelope and crushed pellets (dust)?** A: Yes we also have issues with the shipping/handling of the product and have ended up with a lot of crushed/dust. We had to put the contents through a fine sifter to get it out.
