Review: Works great with Hampton Bay Caswyck 54" with two lights - This receiver works perfectly with a Hampton Bay Caswyck 54-inch model. Our fan and its lights stopped working with the remote. We also had it integrated with Alexa through a Bond Bridge, and voice commands started failing sporadically, which complicated diagnosing the problem. At first, I thought the Bond Bridge might be the problem, but we have another fan that uses it, and it worked fine. So I did a web search on what the problem might be, and found that the receiver was the likely culprit. Finding the RIGHT receiver was a challenge though because the Caswyck has two lights - an "Up" light and a "Down" light. Most of the receivers I found did not mention the ability to control two lights. They might have worked, but I wanted to be sure. I finally found the right part on another site, but desertcart had it for a better price, so I bought it here. Installation was very easy. The receiver arrived with new wire nuts, and the wires already had the ends stripped. I took photos of the connections on the original receiver (always a good idea!), disconnected it, and then I connected the new unit. The toughest part of the procedure was getting the wires back up inside the junction box, but I managed to do that. One important point to be aware of is that the receiver has an antenna, which needs to be on the outside of the canopy that covers the wires. Another important point is that the DIP switches in the receiver and the remote need to be set exactly the same. If they aren't, the remote won't work.

**Q: Does this receiver have dimming on up light?  will it replace a uc7067rc receiver and will it work with a monte carlo fan?**
A: it does replace the UC7067RC receiver, but depending on what remote you have, it may not work with your existing remote due to being on a different frequency. I recommend trying this receiver and if it doesn't work your existing remote, then to purchase the RR7080T or the RR7078TUDL. It does not do dimming on up lights.

**Q: Will this receiver replace 7067FM5-25B(6+8)?**
A: if your old receiver has the same wires and shape, then yes. But this receiver may be on a different frequency with your original remote. So you may need to purchase a new remote as well. You can purchase the RR7078TUDL or if you also need the reverse key, you can purchase the RR7080T remote to go with this receiver.

**Q: I only have a white, black, and blue wire, where do I put the red wire?**
A: If the old receiver does not have the Orange wire then tape and leave it alone.

**Q: My fan only has one light. How do I wire this? The one I currently have is a 7067FM-04A(6+6)? Is this the right one?**
A: Only connect the blue wire to the light. Cap off the orange wire. You should have purchased the UC7067FMRX instead. But this receiver should work fine if you do the above.

This receiver works perfectly with a Hampton Bay Caswyck 54-inch model. Our fan and its lights stopped working with the remote. This unit fixed my Monte Carlo fan so it works again using the same sending unit which is in the wall! The old receiving unit died it was about 20 yrs old.
