ORIGIN - The hives are on Mount Kaliakouda in central Greece where the natural honey is harvested at an altitude of over 1500 metres. - ACTIVE HONEY - This test in a lab measures the total antimicrobial activity of a honey. Is graded according to the amount of bacteria that the honey solution kills. Generally, the range that we see will be between 10 and 25 plus. (similar to the test used to grade Manuka Honey). If yours has crystallised and you prefer it runny, place on a radiator and drape a tea towel over it. Leave it overnight (longer if necessary).
