I put all purpose cleaner diluted with water in the refillable dispenser. In my video it’s hard to see the spray but it definitely sprays a nice uniform mist. The microfiber pad stays snug on the mop with a Velcro-like connection. After use, I hand washed the pad with dawn dish soap and water, then air dried. I really like this mop because the pad is reusable and easily cleaned, you can use whatever cleaning solution you like or even plain water.
