That is why I purchased a new one. The wheel on my old case fell apart in the airport while I was pulling it. **Q: How deep is it? (front to back)** A: The actual case front to back is 10 inches. The wheels add 3/4 inch for total of 10.75 inches **Q: The size is over Spirit Airlines personal bag allowance by .25". Does anyone know if it can squeeze in?** A: Depends on what you have in it.
