I thought I'd replace it with the same one in wondereful shiny stainless steel. Unfortunately the new one is not usable but I missed the return date or would have returned it:The attachments are much less sharp and the new manufacturer added a little thingie at the transition from handle to box that's probably supposed to be an improvement to hold the box better closed but is not, gets into the way of fingers.So I pulled my ancient one back from the donations box and am using it again because the blades are still sharp on this gadget that my mother and I bought at a country fair in Bavaria somewhere in the fifties or sixties. It's a practical, very easy-to-use and quick-to-clean little gadget. Wish I could find another just like it that does not rust.
