The dice and doubling cube were missing but the set was so nice I did not want to return it. I contacted the vendor and they sent the items out to me right away and I had them within a week. (Being a Christmas present, I substituted the dice set from my own backgammon board so they would be there when it was opened by the recipient and then switched them when I received the replacements a few days later.)What I like about this set from Orion:1. The triangles/spaces are properly alternating in light and dark colors, unlike many other wooden sets I looked at.2. It has the side pockets where the pips go, unlike many others. This is important because otherwise you will have to keep the pieces off the board when playing. Also, they are really needed for Acey Duecy version of backgammon which I prefer to play.3. The coloration of the wood is very nice with this set, the playing surface is nicely fit together and smooth and even the shaker cups are each carved out of a single piece of mahogany.4. The latches close good and are much better than magnetic latches IMO.5. Overall very good workmanship on the set I received.This set is very nice even when compared with some much more expensive ones. One thing to note is that the wooden pips on the wooden board are slippery and so you will need to set this on a flat surface when playing. ### ⭐⭐ not as represented, inferior quality- returned *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2018* Returned this product upon receiving it- the case is touted a "Opulent Walnut Burl exterior ...prized by sculptors...etc" - the case is well made of very straight grained walnut - not a fragment of figured burlwood anywhere on it. The playing surface is described as "Inlaid Walnut", when in fact, it is a vinyl sheet stuck on---and that sheet was split, detached and unusable.. totally misrepresented and of inferior quality.
