I slid the front fork tubes up an inch in the triple clamps. Now the seat is at least an inch lower and the bike is level. All suspension travel is unaffected and the bike is a joy to ride. By the way, I cut 1 1/4" out of the sidestand and had it rewelded. The shorter G310 stand unfortunately does not fit the G310GS.
