While many of them are nice, I've been disappointed that most of them are so sheer, hardly any color at all no matter the supposed "shade." So I didn't have high expectations for this Wet n Wild gloss, but thought it wouldn't hurt to try for the price. ...Wow! I'm VERY impressed and pleasantly surprised! This delivers not just a beautiful sparkle/shimmer (just the right amount for my taste), but also an unexpectedly notable pigment. This really does work great on its own or with just some lip liner - no other lipstick/color base needed.As for longevity, of course, it's not super long-lasting and has to be reapplied after eating or drinking much. But without food/drink, I think it lasts well for at least several hours, and I think it's as long-lasting (or better) as every other (more pricey) drugstore gloss I've tried. It glides on pretty smoothly and feels pretty great on - minimal stickiness & plenty moisturizing, similar to a chapstick feel, I think (though thankfully less waxy).
