We wanted a ring he could wear daily that wasn’t metal, but still have a relatively sophisticated look and was something we both found aesthetically pleasing. This ring is much smoother and more of a flat design than other silicone wedding band brands/styles – laying flat on the finger instead of looking like a small innertube or tire on his finger.The ring is stretchy, yet durable and has been worn daily for several months without any issues. He has received several compliments on the ring. He claims it is comfortable, and used my many of his other active duty military friends who also run into the same issue with not being able to wear their metal rings during work and deployments for safety reasons.I would recommend this ring to anyone looking for a suitable, sturdy and fashionable ring that is allergic to metal, or cannot/does not want to wear a metal ring on a daily basis. I would recommend taking the ring off every now and then to let the finger breathe – if moisture gets trapped under it and is not allowed to properly dry, it can cause a small irritation on the finger.Overall, we are both very pleased with this ring and will continue to use this as a wedding ring substitute while my husband is unable to wear his metal ring. Ordered black rings for my husband & I to wear when working out & on the beach - they seem like they will work perfectly! I was initially worried because I wear a size 6.5, but half sizes aren't available, so I went with a 7.. It felt a bit loose when I put it on, but I wore it around the house last night while showering, playing with the dogs, and cooking, and it never slipped around or felt like it'd come off! It was extremely comfortable! I was also worried about the width of the band - I was wanting a thicker one, not like the thinner "women's" bands other brands carry.. These are wider & I love it! My husband's was too snug so we're sending it back for a size up, hoping it isn't too big.. Half sizes would be great! :) But still a great product, and I will be recommending these to friends! Shipping was super fast too! Thanks!!UPDATE: I did end up ordering another ring, size 6, and it is pretty snug. Not necessarily uncomfortable, because I really can't feel the silicone, but it does leave a mark on my finger when I take it off, even after just a few hours. My husband and I each bought one to wear during our long term travel and at the gym, and we both love them. They're very comfortable, sizing was true for each of us, and I like the matte black look. I usually take off my rings when I go running because it hurts when my fingers swell, and I also usually take off rings to play the piano, and I don't need to do either anymore. The ring has plenty of give if you need to stretch it to take it off, but otherwise it's a snug, comfortable fit.ONE CAVEAT: It says that for women's sizes they send a women's thickness band. Not true for me, my husband's and mine are both the same, the thicker width. I actually prefer the wider one and am glad for this, but it seems there may be a distribution/detail page contradiction to take care of there.
