The anchors (with white handles) tuck in between the folds of the seats to keep it in place. The bottom straps can be secured through your rear seat adjustment bar (my GMC Terrain has one) and that also keeps the covers in place. There is a nice rubbery surface that contacts the seats making the covers even more secure. They match my car's interior perfectly. The only issue is with human passengers (maybe dock half a star for this), if you have three passengers in the back, buckling the middle seat belt could be an issue. You would need to remove the seat cover if you have three passengers. Otherwise, the seat covers allow two passengers in the back to easily snap on their seat belts and ride securely. Bottom line: The dog is happy, and I am happy. Thank you DTC! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ was easy to install *by W***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2017* This seat cover is high quality, was easy to install, and equally easy to covert from the hammock style to a regular seat cover or to remove.
