## Description

Note: The sensor is not water-proof; can only place the transparent part into water. Be careful not to reversely connect the power supply, or the sensor will be damaged. You can turn the blue potentiometer on the sensor to adjust the sensitivity of sensor. The function of the potentiometer is to change the electrical signal read, and it cannot change the output voltage. Turbidity sensors can be used in measurement of water quality in rivers and streams, wastewater and effluent measurements, sediment transport research and laboratory measurements. Ich wollte mit dem Trübungssensor einen Fütterungsautomaten für Forellen steuern der bei trübem Wasser die Futtergabe unterbricht. Wie beschrieben sollte dies möglich sein. Ein 3 Volt Microrelais sollte die Steuerung übernehmen. Leider ist die Ausgangsspannung zu gering. Max. 0,2 Volt reichen nicht aus. Eine Anleitung mit Hinweis aus ein Zusatzgerät liegt nicht bei. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cool little sensor

I saw before I bought it that I couldn't submerge it, so I'm not knocking a star off for that. I think it could be sealed with hot glue, but my guess is that the sensor generates enough heat which might generate condensation. The sensor itself is fantastic and tells you how "clear" the water is. I used example code that D. Porrey posted (Thanks D!) and was up and running quickly. I bought this, along with the TDS sensor to measure the contaminates of my water in my laser cutter cooling system. These two together seem to be a great combo since the readings are consistent and instant. They will tell me when my water is starting to look not so fresh, since it's in a place where I can't see it without some effort. I hooked this up to an arduino and sent the data to Node Red so I have a digital gauge showing my water condition on the phone.
