I purchased this unit for my two dogs for hiking, fishing, camping, etcetera. We just returned from a camping trip by a lake. This unit stood the trial and won. WATERPROOF, rugged, and dependable. Did not had an issue with this unit. Worked great at half a mile in the woods and still worked after a day swimming. Plus, the batteries in the collars and the remote lasted all five days! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Collars With Great Features! *by T***1 on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2016* This collar system is great! It has the 2 features that I wanted most and couldn't find in any other collar system. They needed to be waterproof and the remote had to have a separate button for each dog. I've had other systems where I would have to press a series of buttons to switch from dog to dog. First of all I'd have to remember what order to press the buttons and then it just took too much time. I want to be able to correct the dog immediately. I have an 85# boxer and a 105# French mastiff/boxer mix. These big guys respond immediately to just the vibration setting (which I have set on 10). I haven't even had to use the static button. There is also a button that just emits a beep, which was also effective.. We walk every morning rain, snow, sun, etc. on wooded trails. There's a pond that they wallow around in every morning with their collars on and I've not had any problems with the water. Also, we were caught in a heavy downpour the other morning and the collars were fine afterwards. The remote is a nice bright lime green, so I'd find it if I dropped it. One collar is black the other is orange. Our older dog responds well to the tone or vibrate. However, we have a large non fenced yard and he has been stopped from running off after other passer by dogs.
