We had to buy a lot of tubes because of our twin sons' circumcision, and the doctor required bacitracin applied with every diaper change for 14 days. So with two boys, that's a lot of bacitracin. We ended up ordering 18 tubes to last us two weeks for our two sons. If we had only bought this in local drug stores, we would have spent nearly $75 just on ointment for their follow-up care. I thought the consistency of the ointment was high-quality, and I had no inconsistencies with the ointment being too runny if left in the car on a warm day.
