Review: Made from flimsy & cheap materials - I was a bit worried reading some of the other negative reviews that these shelves would no travel well in the post. Sadly on this occasion I was right. The metal rails are bent out of shape on both shelves, & one shelf also has a chip in the corner. I'm currently trying to decide whether to return these or try to bend these back into shape, but the flexibility of the metal does not leave me with much confidence that these will be able to hold their advertised weight bearing capacity.

**Q: Is there a load bearing capacity for these shelves?**
A: These shelves are suitable for items not more than 5lbs each.  they can be used in the kitchen, a regular kitchen towel for the towel rack area.  I hang all our glasses and shades on the towel rack and all vitamins, and first aid items are placed on the shelves, quite neat.

**Q: Can you use double stick velcro or other self stick products?**
A: I wouldn't.  It comes with the screws to give you good support, especially if you are going to put items that are heavy on the shelves.  If you go back to the item on Amazon and scroll through the images on the left, the fifth image shows how to put the shelves together.

**Q: Are the screws black on the gold hardware? I see reviews that mention that, but the picture shows gold screws. So, which is it?**
A: Brass colored
