They are just under 3/4" and they are very strong magnets. I actually used 2 of them, one on either side of a piece of string to retrieve a 3/8" ratchet with extension and deepwell sparkplug socket from a spot on my car I couldn't reach, and they were strong enough to do it on magnetism alone while staying stuck together on the string. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome for refrigerator magnets *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2022* Had a few wall hanging ceramic ornament type things I wanted to stick on the fridge instead. Regular magnets just wouldn't cut it, ceramic and falling don't mix. These magnets and some crazy glue gel did the trick. They're even a bit difficult to pull off! I also had another idea and cut the screw end off of some screw hooks and crazy glued magnets to them. Now I have a handful of magnetic hooks for the workshop (steel shelves, they attach to the frame perfectly). I was making magnets with laser cut acrylic charms (2in), they stuck onto the acrylic with super glue and they’re very strong when they are on the fridge. Neodymium magnets tend to be brittle, you’ll see ones that are 2mm thick have a lot of mixed reviews and I feel that’s because 2mm is kind of on the thin side and require more care when handling. These magnets are 3mm thick, none of mine broke despite how badly they all want to be together. A few times they even slammed together, ack, my bad, but they didn’t break. The diameter of the magnets were also exactly what I needed.
