Review: No arthritis pain when using these - I bought these for my mother for Christmas but she passed away right before. I had these in a drawer still in the bag for months. This cold winter my right hand began to bother me worse than it ever has had with arthritis. Although I don’t do much writing being retired, I occasionally make notes, do book reviews and write out a rough draft, and write plans in my shop. I was totally surprised on how easy I got grip this pen. Sometimes when I write, I have to use my left hand to adjust the pen in my right hand due to the arthritis. With these pens. I simply pick it up and write. There is no effort gripping the pen and no pain when I do write, I thought that the pen being short would bother me but it’s fine. It’s a amazing how the thickness makes writing and drawing plans so much easier. I have not had one instance where I had to re adjust or stop writing due to my arthritis pain. I bought these for my 86 year old mother, but at 63, they work absolutely perfect for me too. Even though my arthritis is not as bad as hers, it’s just wonderful to write again like I once did with no pain, no effort, and be comfortable. Excellent product.

**Q: Is the ink cartridge for this pen  0.7 mm or less as in Fine Point ?**
A: It’s pretty small about that but I can tell you these pens and refills are worth every penny. They are a godsend for me. I work in health care and I have arthritis in my fingers these are wonderful. Makes writing so easy.

**Q: Do these pens for standard ballpoint ink refills?**
A: Yes these pens accept Parker-style refill. You can also purchase premium metal refills right here on amazon and find them with the keywords: Thixotropic pen refills

**Q: How long is the necklace?**
A: Fairly long. I don’t have one to measure right now but when I place around my neck, it hangs down to about 8” below my neck.

**Q: Anyone know of the blue ink version of this? Having a hard time finding one.**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice pen but need refill info--which I now provide

My wife, who has pretty bad arthritis, likes this pen a lot. I don't use it too often but it writes nicely and is easy to handle with my elderly paws. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars, though, is that the manufacturer does not offer refills on this site nor, even more important, identify the refill to be used in product specifications. That would hugely simplify the task of getting more ink for these pens. At least one that my wife has been using ran out of ink pretty fast. Following a tip from another user, I went to OfficeMax to find refills for this pen. They did not have a ballpoint version (out of stock I believe) but the Parker Gel Refill (Quink) fits and works well. But here's the rub: these pens sell for about $2 each here on Amazon.com. The refills cost $3.25 each. So it makes no economic sense to buy refills instead of a new stock of the pens unless the ink in the refill lasts more than 50% longer. That I do not know and while I may be a little OCD, I won't be taking the time to answer this question.
