This pH tester works awesome ,I bought a extra tip just in case but haven't needed to use it yet. Be careful with glass bulb when cleaning and it will last a long time. Hope this helps **Q: The spare probe arrived without being submerged in 3M KCl, is this normal? there is some moisture but not enough to submerge it** A: Yes, it is a common practice to store the probe with just droplets of water for humidity. The fill line is for the 3M KCL or 4.0 calibration as a substitute.
