It was a large box with a smaller box inside, surrounded by packing peanuts. The inner box had the aquarium and even more packing peanuts! They actually made a huge disaster, if you have kids or dogs that might mistakenly put these in their mouth beware. However, the tank was in absolutely pristine condition, so it was worth the trouble. The tank itself has nice thick glass that seems high quality. It looks perfectly clear. I added a black vinyl background on mine and heavily planted it. It's gorgeous. This was the best price I found anywhere for a rimless larger aquarium!

I got the 20 gallon aquarium. I was nervous that it would arrive damaged or broken, but the packaging was above and beyond. It was a large box with a smaller box inside, surrounded by packing peanuts. The inner box had the aquarium and even more packing peanuts! They actually made a huge disaster, if you have kids or dogs that might mistakenly put these in their mouth beware. However, the tank was in absolutely pristine condition, so it was worth the trouble. The tank itself has nice thick glass that seems high quality. It looks perfectly clear. I added a black vinyl background on mine and heavily planted it. It's gorgeous. This was the best price I found anywhere for a rimless larger aquarium!

This tank came in very well and was packaged nicely. You may notice that the silicone seems a bit thin but I can assure you that it is supposed to be like that and is very durable. I love the dimensions of this tank but if you want a lid you would have to custom build on but that is not an issue for me because I enjoy am open top tank for floating plants like dwarf water lettuce, salvinia minima, and frogbit.
