I decided to use it anyway as it was for a room re-do for my son's birthday and I didn't have time to order another one. I stuck it, with a LOT OF DIFFICULTY, to the ceiling as pictured. I cleaned the ceiling surface, and allowed it to dry, even though no directions came with this decal. I smoothed out the air bubbles and made sure it was well attached. About 2 hours after sticking it to the ceiling it fell off, crumpled on itself and is now stuck together and very wrinkled. It was very nice but it kept falling off in places and sticking to its self. Had to throw it away.
