For any collectors still looking, the one I received was official, from Avex, complete with the official YOI tag and everything. It's super soft and cute, might be softer than the tissues you can put inside. I haven't tried to fit any boxes in it yet but I'm super happy to have the official item.

Arrived promptly (after waiting 6 months for an ebay order that never came) and was in perfect condition. The one complaint I have is that it doesn't fit anything larger than a standard sized box of tissue but if you bend the box out of shape you can cram it in. Makka is now a permanent fixture in my bed!

This is so gosh darn perfect! My sweet little Makkachin has already gotten me through one seasonal cold and it was fantastic. It’s so snuggly and cute and the elastic bands hold the tissue box firmly in place. The material is so soft and it looks great. It’s very high quality.
