They really held the skin together well and stayed stuck flat on my skin for days without lifting so I could remove the dressing and let it air/heal. Despite stickly strongly on the skin, it was easy and painless to remove and change them after brief showers. A gentle rub on the end of each strip until it started to lift, then gently lifting it up until it came off. My wound healed really well in the end, leaving a tidy thin scar and I have lots of sealed packs of steristrips left in my first aid kit now so am prepared if the family get any cuts in future that need closing up.
