My old auger motor sounded like gears grinding. It worked, but was unbearable as I have my pellet stove sharing the same room with my television. This new unit is extremely quiet. I have been running it for a week, now all I hear is the blower in my Englander 25-PVDC.I did install on this on bottom auger. It took about 20 minutes to install from removing the screws from the back, getting the auger turned to the same position as the old one, to installing it and putting the back on my stove.The top auger is still running the original stove part, when I plugged the unit in, it appeared to make 1.1 to 1.2 revolutions per minute. Based on my reading this is in spec for the Gleason Avery motor, but it is a little bit faster than the factory, which is a little closer to 1.0 to 1.1. As I have the top auger using the factory spec part, the pellets appear to be getting the stove correctly. I recommend either replacing the bottom auger or both to keep things in spec.The speed issue aside, this is so quiet, dealing with the auger turning a little bit faster is worth it. They got back to me super fast with a clear explanation and I immediately saw I had no problem. (I didn't see that to install the new motor you simply unplug the female leads from the old motor and plug them into the new motors male leads.So Simple...) Tip: Both my old motors wires were black (not black and white like the new one) so I made sure to match the exact wires as they came off the motor.It's in and working great. So for So good...Thank you for a good motor at a good price and again for your great service.P.S. Ordered the motor on a holiday weekend and got it on the following Friday. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good fit. *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2014* The first Motor did not work right out of the box. esesstoves sent a new one out to me and took care of it for me. We were in the middle of an extremely cold snap here in the northeast, so I loosened all the screws in the gear box one turn and plugged the motor back in and it started working. As soon as I tightened the screws it bound up again. So I ran it for a week with the screws loosened, just so I would have heat until the replacement showed up. The second one worked flawlessly, and they were very helpful.
