I bought this brand because it was refered to on a baking blog I often read.This pan is well made, it is a dark teal color even though the photo looks black. I noticed no odors when baking in this pan and the large donuts came out perfectly. I did notice they cooked much faster after i removed the cookie sheet out from under the silicone pan. I am able to use my cookie sheets as big spatulas because they have no lip on them and are just steel sheets, so likely most people will have to cook with a cookie sheet still under their silicone pan.The included frosting cone was a nice freebie. Im glad they included it so I could find out how much I stink at using those cones. Definitly saved me from a future cone purchase. One pan is enough for our "donut fix" for awhile!We make gluten-free donuts, and I didn't have a sticking problem. I inverted the pan and the donuts just fell out, while they were hot. I did use non-stick spray though.Filling up donut pans can be tricky, so I bought a gizmo for making fancy donuts, and used that to squeeze in the batter, which was big enough to fill up the entire pan. Cleaning donut pans is just more work than a cake pan, but the silicone helps a lot because nothing sticks hard.I used regular cake mix, which was perhaps too tender to use for donuts, but they were quite tasty and survived well enough.This is absolutely the best way to make donuts! Not too greasy, and not too much work. That being said, I ordered this donut pan (BPA FREE is a HUGE plus) because it came with a piping bag to use to get the filling into the cavity without making a huge mess. (I mentioned not liking to bake cuz it's messy right?) This worked PERFECTLY!!!! (after I googled how to assemble piping bag, I did state, I'm NOT a baker! lol) I placed a cookie sheet over the cooked donuts, flipped it over, and lifted it right off! No sticking or prying what so ever!
