Quality of the line seems to be high as I was spooling my reel the line felt very smooth without many rough spots in the line to weaken it. I tested the strength of the line using a scale which I attached via a barrel swivel and a palomar knot. The other end of the line was wrapped around the handle of a 40 pound dumbbell and I tested it 3 times.
