I ordered the Kindle version of the Technician book, but found that studying from that format wasn't easy, so I ordered the spiral bound versions of the Technician, General and Extra books. I spent about a month going through all three and passed the exams with 100, 100, and 96 respectively. Ok, I'm already an electrical engineer and the holder of a General Radiotelephone Operator's License, so the rules and operating procedures were the only unfamiliar material.The books - all three - are organized in a way that makes learning the material easy. ARRL has online test-taking that you can use free, so review is simple. I would read each chapter, check out the referenced questions and answers as they came up, and then took sample exams. After a couple of iterations, I was ready for the tests, and sailed through them.If you are considering getting the Technician, or upgrading to General or Extra, I don't think you can go wrong with these books. They are well-written and designed to teach you the material, not merely prep you for the exams. Don't get the Kindle versions as the graphs and diagrams aren't readable. The spiral-bound versions, although a bit more costly, are easier to work with than the conventionally-bound books, so I think they're a good investment. Get some colored highlighters, too, to make studying easier. All subjects are covered. Good answer key. I purchased the spiral bound book and it is of high quality, lays flat for study, and the print is a good size. The spiral is just a few cents more than the paperback so I highly recommend it. The Kindle version is over priced in my opinion. EDIT: I am changing my review from 4 to 5-stars as my only complaint was addressed and correct which was I could get registered to used the online exams. This book has everything you need when used with the online exam to obtain your license. ### ⭐⭐ Some sections unreadable in Kindle version *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2017* I'm giving the Kindle version of this book a 2 star rating, not because the material is lacking, but because many sections of the book have become unreadable on iPhone and iPad and I have found no way to get support. Affected sections include, among others, the table of contents and sections with a blue background. This was not the case when I first purchased the book. Perhaps the problem is related to Kindle Reader and/or iOS software updates since the purchase. At first, I thought the text was in another language/character set. But when I highlighted text and did a google lookup, I found that it's English, formatted in a way that makes it unreadable.
