I have them for my company. Brushless and very durable. I have Been using Makita since 1980. **Q: Do the have it at Lowe’s** A: Lowe's does not carry Makita, Home Depot does. I don't know if they carry this one. Call your local store. **Q: What size bit is needed for this drill?** A: I believe it will accept any drill bit up to a half inch in diameter. **Q: How is this packaged? my order/replacement looks "used": taped on the outside, and no protection inside. just the bare tool rubbing itself on the box.** A: Yes it has extra tape on the outside to prevent it from opening. Mine shipped in the bare makita box. The tool was in the boxes with spacers/holders. I think it was also in a plastic bag but not completely sure.
