**Q: Does the handle get hot?**
A: The hand stays cool to the touch as long as you don't place it in the oven or a hot grill. do keep in mind this handle is made of wood so please keep it clear from open flames! I got a little carless and had the handle over a lit gas burner and while it did not catch fire it did scorch it.

**Q: Can I buy a lid for my 10" fry pan?**
A: If you haven't already bought the pan, you can get the pan with a lid. If you have, amazon sells many 10 inch lids. You might do best to ask amazon which of those would be compatible with that specific pan.

**Q: What is the inside diameter of the bottom of this 10" pan with lid?**
A: The bottom of the pan is 6 & 3/4 inches.

**Q: Are the materials FDA approved for cooking?**
A: Unfortunately I didn’t order the White Carote Nonstick Skillet. I ordered the Black/Granite Carote skillet. I am not sure it is approved by the FDA but I do love the way it cooks.

This pan was a great improvement on a previous one that I bought that scratched within minutes of proper use. This skillet is so sturdy, good strong handle, with a quality finish and it cooks food nice and evenly on a lower heat than traditional frying pans. It's so easy to clean and I feel like the finish locks in the flavours more with no horrible smoking as with some other pans. Really pleased with this purchase and it also looks stylish in your kitchen.

Absolutely love this skillet! It’s beautifully crafted - looks like granite pan. Absolutely a breeze to clean. Nothing sticks. Heats evenly and quickly using medium heat (gas burner) Love the clear lid and the lid handle and skillet handle look like wood but they are not - they’re beautiful. I can’t describe the metal bottom design but I’m sure it’s why the skillet heats quickly and evenly. Besides making perfect soft scrambled eggs, omelets and over easy eggs. It makes beautiful browned crispy grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas. I’ve even made grilled ham and cheese sandwiches on sourdough bread with grated pecorino Romano cheese on the outside of the bread and they come out perfect. The quality is superior and equivalent to my much more expensive cookware.
