These roll very smoothly, even supporting 770 lb and are about as maneuverable as you can expect for carrying such a heavy load. The locking mechanism works well, too. I was debating buying 4 inch wheels with a 220 lb capacity just to be safe, but these claimed 1000 lb capacity wheel appear to be holding up just fine after a few days of use. The screws and bolts for whichever installation you prefer was a huge perk. Also, the bolts and nuts are decent quality hardware. I have often seen such inferior quality hardware that I needed to buy my own hardware at the local hardware store because I didn't trust the stuff included. Not the case with these. Wheels turn well, brakes work, and they were easy to install. I bought these to install onto a Fido dog house after its base snapped off. The edges caught on the loops of the berber carpet and the particle board cracked, then broke off entirely. I removed the remaining pieces of the base. Made roughly 3/4” x 5” x 5” square base supports for extra thickness, and then attached them to each corner. Then I mounted these wheels on those supports. Turned out pretty well.
