Review: Functional and cheap - Bought these as an alternative to plastic bottles and the rising cost of bottled water. They’re light, easy to hold and can hold a good amount of liquid. I don’t have a dish washer but the bottle is easy to clean-I use a washing up brush and soak the lid in the water whilst washing up. The bottle can also be put in the freezer so you can either have very chilled/slushy type drink or frozen-it takes awhile to defrost fully so I recommend taking it out of the freezer and putting it in the fridge for a few hours before use.The twist open/close top is great as means there no spillage if you’re carrying it in your bag. The only little niggle is there’s a knack to opening the cap to drink but after a few uses it becomes easier. Definitely recommend and don’t be put off by the cheap price as this is worth the money. Would give more stars if I could.

A: My son takes the bottle every day to school with orange squash and he is happy and I'm happy with it too I hope the answer helps

**Q: Would this be suitable for a 2 and a half year old or just older children?**
A: My younger child has been using this since she was 8 months old with little spillage. She can even hold it to her mouth herself when it isn't too full and heavy.

**Q: When I suck on this bottle I get a bit of water but mostly air. Is it faulty or is it meant to be like this?**
A: Just use it as a normal water bottle. Do not suck, squeeze the bottle gently as you drink from it. It will go back into shape. It is not faulty as others have said. Do not treat the bottle like a juice carton where you suck the drink through a straw.

I like these bottles because they seem to be good at not leaking which is hard to find in a bottle. However the twist top is hit and miss. We have a few of these and the lid is fine but we also have a couple where the lid is very hard to twist and my younger children find it really difficult to open them. It's also silly that you have to twist it to drink in the same direction you twist to open and take the lid off so you can end up just taking the lid off instead. I also have concerns about how clean the lid is, it's hard to get inside it to give all the parts a good wash.
