Has anyone plugged this into the regular cigarette lighter in a car or truck? Is it better to attach to the battery?** A: It depends, if you can use the 12v plug in a vehicle as a working cigarette lighter, then you can use it, as it amperage will exceed the 25 amps. If not, then the 25 amps will exceed the 20 amps for the circuit and blow the fuse (which I did). The 12v plug on our RV works fine.
