Review: Nice garden tool - I got this primarily for digging and planting.,I have not had it long but have used it to break up soil, clean out weeds, incorporate new soil and fertilizer and plant in containers. It preformed very well. I like that it has a built in hand guard. You don’t have to worry about your hand slipping onto the blade.The blade is dished which allows you to scoop up some soil on it. The blade is also handy for opening potting soil. I have not used it in the ground yet but the serrated edge should come in handy with roots. It is full tang and built like a tank. I would think you would almost have to try to break it. It also has a nice sheath. I like it very much so far.

My sister asked for this as a Christmas present since she’s really into gardening. I first tried to buy it off another site but found it cheapest here! I was surprised at how durable and great quality it is! The blade is a good thickness to hold up to a lot of use, and it’s very versatile in what you can use it for. The sheath makes it easy (and safer) to store in your garden bag, and the wooden handle gives it a comfortable fit in your hand, making it easy to use. I can see this being passed down through generations with how well it’s made. It’s a must have if you garden!
