Review: Great sound and terrific value - I had a functional Microsystems, but its sound quality was disappointing. I saw this at a good price, and while I'm not drowning in cash, I took a chance that even as open box goods, it would be a significant upgrade. And it was. Truly outstanding sound for its size and good volume range with no distortion. The CD player is a huge improvement over the other unit, which tended to skip on older discs. All said, I'm delighted with my purchase.
Review: Easy to set up! - I wanted something that would provide a basic music sound to the house. This was easy to set up and the directions are pretty clear on how to use the remote. The sound isn't the best but it sounds good overall. If I wanted better sound I could have spent several hundred or one or two thousand. I am happy with this unit. Besides it is a Sony product and they have a good reputation so I expect it will last years. My last Sony stereo radio lasted 25 years.

**Q: hi,, please tell me the watts ..no mention of it.**
A: On official site it says it's 12 Watt total RMS. So it's 6 watts per channel (per speaker). It's actually enough to make your neighbours hate you, it's pretty loud.

**Q: Exactly how long are the speaker wires?**
A: Looks to be about 2 ft. Long

**Q: Does this unit have digital optical or coaxial (spdif) outputs?**
A: The only inputs are a USB on the face and a 1/8” stereo on the back. No digital/optical issue.  -ALR

**Q: Does it have a line-out or headphones jack?**
A: It has a line in. It does not have a line out or headphone jack. You can only listen to this system through the speakers. I even contacted Sony about it. I was surprised that it didn't, at least, have a headphone jack or Bluetooth headphone capabilities.
I really love the system besides that!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little system, but SHORT speaker wires!

This is my second little Sony system. I changed to this because my other didn't have a CD player. I love the look of these sleek systems, and the sound is very good, but WHY do they make these with such incredibly short speaker wires?! It's infuriating -- they're only about 3' long, or just over that. They won't even reach to the ends of my entertainment center, as I'd like to put one speaker on each "tower" of my shelving system. I will, once again, have to splice wires and extend the physical reach of the speakers. It's annoying.
