Even if it looks a little over the top. I smelled it upon receiving it and it was strong, peppery, and deeply sweet and floral. I tested it out in a simple tea to check out the color and flavor, then proceeded to make some Persian saffron rice with tahdig, and it is potent and high quality.I would highly recommend this saffron. If you're on the fence about using saffron in your cooking, or trying saffron tea, I'd suggest ordering a gram of it and experiencing the real thing.
