I was wondering if they would have splinters or break easily and they were neither. They look really nice, were a great value, and they held up really well. The knives even cut pretty well. The only down side to them is that it kind of feels like eating with a tongue depressor. There is kind of a drag when eating with them, not smooth like plastic or metal.
