I thought I was wearing a Halloween mask the first time I used it for shaving.I just purchased another one ...here is why.I did not believe the comments when they said it had to be applied to a very smooth surface, including glass / tile. I mounted it in the shower for shaving and it was terrific for the first couple weeks and stayed right where I installed it on my slightly textured shower tile - mistake!It let go, fell to the shower floor and, unfortunately, the mirror did break. I liked it so much I am buying a replacement. This time I will heed the instructions and mount it on the "smooth surface" shower glass. The locking suction device is really excellent as long as you mount it where instructed and not on a even slightly textured wall tile.I also notice that the price was reduced...even better to recover from my mistake. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works super! *by A***I on March 19, 2018* This mirror is great. The suction is powerful - I have no worries about it falling off my wall mirror to which it is now attached. Light is good, and the swivel function is fantastic. I can swivel it out of the way when I need to use the larger mirror. I only wish that ANY magnifying mirror (I don't see any on Amazon or elsewhere) had a longer "stalk" so that it would be taller on the counter, or stick out further from the wall when mounted straight ahead of me. I still have to lean way over the sink to see the mirror, but that's the only comment I can make that is negative. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it! Follow the instructions exactly as written so that the mirror stay adhered to whatever glass is selected. Also, best to remove batteries when packing the mirror as I discovered the "on" button gets pressed so easily without knowing it, I found out the hard way! (Always bring an extra set of batteries, which I am glad I did!)I would have given this mirror a five-star rating if the lighting would have been warm or bright white instead of cool LED. This is NOT the correct lighting for applying make-up. Auxent--Please update your mirror to use warmer LEDs.
