The thermometer is a very nice component and was why I purchased this product. Unfortunately, after less than six months of use the thermometer is filled with water and no longer anywhere near accurate. It still works as a kettle, but the short-lived thermometer function is disappointing.When I originally purchased the item, it arrived with a broken handle. Customer service was excellent and sent me a replacement right away (and even included a free filterless pour-over cone).
