I searched through many sites prior to settling on these and I did so for the following reasons: 1. safety (no BPA/BPS, no phthalates (chemical commonly found in plastics to make them pliable) and no metals shreds as was an issue with one of the other stainless steel brands. 2. Durable, I want something that will last and I won't have to constantly replace, I don't mind having to replace the bamboo sticks if I have to, but don't want to deal with the plastic version types that seemed to almost always crack.
