**Q: Can the latch plate be removed for round latch installation?**
A: No it cannot, I just notched my doors out (from round to rectangle)

**Q: Will this product chip/peel from use over time? I bought a similar handset on Amazon that now looks awful.**
A: still looks good. Have no chippig or even scratches. very solid.

**Q: All reviews say how easy these are to install but I am struggling screwing in the screw that is directly behind the door handle?am I missing something**
A: Use a small /short Phillips head and screw the opposite handle side first . it's easy then hold down lever to screw the other screw in. a little tricky but great working and looking handles. I have them thru my entire home.

**Q: I love these handles but a couple of the packages were missing 1 on the long screws?  How can I get them?**
A: Go to your nearest hardware store

Heavy duty. Very nicely packaged. Easy install. I replaced very old circle door knobs which left circle marks on door and the base of these aren’t big enough to cover the circle ring marks the old door knobs left but nothing a little touch up paint can’t handle.
