The first time I saw Mike Wolfe using a pair of magnetic reading glasses was on the History Channel show American Pickers. I was always misplacing my reading glasses, and I had resorted to having multiple pairs in multiple places. These reading glasses are more expensive than your basic reading glasses, but the extra cost is well worth it.
