Takes out some of the base as well. **Q: Do they have a case?** A: Yes they do have a case. Small case that can go on your keys. Great product **Q: Do they also protect your ears from engine noise, when driving a race car? Or just wind noise on a motorbike?** A: Hi! Good question. It will also filter out excessive engine noise. The filters are geared towards the harmful frequencies and a proper race car can definitely hit those tones. So yeah; they should definitely work in attenuation that; albeit not fully; just the harmful stuff. Not as well made as they used to be.
