Review: I knew it would be pretty but I was still shocked when I turned it on - I am extremely happy with this 50-in fireplace. It really is so beautiful. I like that it has color choices, but I like the traditional orange flames best. I put a few crystals in with the logs and it's sooo pretty. Installation was the easiest project I've had all year. I am using mine on the outside of the wall and it does not protrude very far. I did this all by myself as a 53-year-old woman. Highly recommend this fireplace. So many color choices and random settings. The heat works good too. If I need to update this winter or when it gets really cold in the room I will. Order one! Great price and great product!

**Q: Does this fit 2x4 stud?**
A: Yes. With some kind of wall material on the stud.  Overall depth is 4”.

**Q: How do I set the colors cycle automatically?**
A: Only if has those settings, check the manual

**Q: I just purchased this fire but i want to make sure if i can ised a regular outlet or of it needs there own circuit**
A: Depends on the total load of the circuit you will plug into.  When just running the lights there should be no issues however in heating mode it will be like plugging in any portable heater. 

When unsure have an electrician check it out.

**Q: When I first turn unit on it shows C1 where heat level is. when I push button it then goes to 00, LL, and HH. But what does C1 mean?**
A: Don't know but I don't think it matters.

I purchased this after redoing my bedroom. My bedroom is in the lower part of the house and, as I am always colder than others in the house, I need something for some additional warmth. I purchased the 40" Electric Fireplace based off of reviews. The shipping was fast and everything was delivered as expected. I mounted this between two windows and what folks were saying about the fire looking realistic is accurate. It's beautiful. The remote that it comes with allows to cycle through the different colors. It doesn't have a memory on color settings so after the unit is off, you will then have to cycle through the colors again to select your preference. There is a setting that you can select that will auto cycle the colors. Heat output is great. I was able to turn on the fireplace, set at 70 and confirm that the unit cuts off the heat once it reaches 70 and will come back on if it gets cooler. There is also a timer to shut the unit off as well. Overall I am really pleased with the price, form and function of this and so glad I purchased this.
