The tubes are extruded aluminum-titanium anodized gold. The length of the base with the connectors is 21" or 53.5cm. The height is 13-5/8" or 34.5cm.. We have tried the many experiments listed in the one-sheet of the kit. Some were not especially dramatic until we learned two important factors: 1) If your pyramid is sitting on a surface, it is vital that you use the compass that is included with the kit to align it with true north! 2) Use smaller objects with a smaller pyramid. Mass to volume ratio is best when your object occupies 5 to 10% of the interior dimension of the pyramid. The most dramatic test is to put a glass of fresh milk in side the pyramid and another glass in another room and wait 3 weeks. The one in the pyramid still smells fresh; the other is kind of disgusting. You will receive four long and four slightly shorter lightweight gold-anodized aluminum-titanium alloy tubes, along with gold plastic connectors. Slide one of the longer tubes through the compass strap to align your pyramid with true north. The compass is not great quality, but it does the job. If you are hanging your pyramid, don't use the compass. Make a square using the longer tubes and four of the connectors. Twist the tubes onto the connector legs. Take the four shorter tubes and erect the pyramid structure by attaching one to each of the connector hubs of the square. Then connect all the shorter tubes to the remaining fifth connector with the Nylon line strung through it. Water sick plants and seedlings with pyramid water. Make pyramid water by placing a plain glass of water in or on the pyramid overnight. Flowers last longer by filling the vase with pyramid water.
