The baluster has some weight and seems good quality. A few balusters have small imperfection, but barely noticeable once installed. I bought the straight balusters from Lowes. The quality of the two is similar, maybe the rectangle one is slightly better. Review: These are fabulous. I added them on my steps slanted at a 45° angle and they are looking great. Only problem is two of them were a little bit bent because they must’ve been damaged in shipping. My package was thrown on the ground at the backside of the house, where they never leave packages. It was ripped open and they were falling out but desertcart graciously gave me a credit for it. I would definitely buy these again, they look great.
