**Q: Can the front be removed as easily as other Vornado models for easy cleaning?**
A: The front grill can be removed by unhooking the three arms that hold it to the fan body.  It can be tricky the first time but once you do it, it becomes easier.

**Q: Is this electric or battery powered?**
A: It is electric.

**Q: does this create a nice white noise? Looking to use as white noise while sleeping.**
A: Yes. This fan has a steady 'white noise' sound. On low it is softer than on the high setting. I like both of the levels. the sound seems to drown out other noises like cars going by etc.

**Q: This can be angled downwards?**
A: Not much.  It will barely point down.

Compact size but puts out a good stream of air. Have mine on the side of the bathroom vanity. The vintage style goes great with other Vornados (same style but larger) that I have. Colour is a creamy white. Great product.
