The foam sleeve that comes with them is fine, but I usually just cut a piece of old tubing and slide it onto the cartridges. Good price at the time of purchase. I love how fast they let me get back in the saddle after an incident with sharp objects in my tire tubes. I also use these with my tubeless mtb tires with mixed results depending on the sealant (read the label or try it at home first!
