A: Only after it gets dark enough. I leave mine in the on position so it will come on when it’s dark enough.

**Q: Is the solar rattan lantern bright?**
A: The solar lantern is much larger and brighter than the one I had purchased. I am quite satisfied with it.

**Q: Water got inside the bulb. How can I dismantle it?**
A: You can lift out the entire black plastic portion, I used a thin knife to help. Then pull that portion out from the bamboo cage. There are screws you loosen and can access the battery and bulb.

**Q: How long the solar rattan lantern can light?**
A: Charge for 6 hours in the daytime and provide 8 hours of lighting in the evening.
