I don't know that I would have been satisfied with it at regular price, because the finish isn't perfect (a couple minor flaws/scratches) and the sides aren't as "finished" as the front. The protective coating was indeed a pain to remove because it would shred into narrow pieces. But the product fit perfectly on top of my newer Samsung gas stove and looks great. The shelf is deep enough to fit standard spice containers two deep. It doesn't completely close the gap between stove and wall, but my stove sticks out pretty far because of the emergency shut off valve. I'd say it closes at least an inch and a half of the gap. The ledge on which the shelf sits isn't perfectly level and I was worried that there might be too much of a tilt, but it's minimal and not noticable. Clever use of rigid corner protectors as well as foam paddSet-up Tip: Have patience when removing product's protective film, since it's both adundant and sticky (without residue). Using a Lysol/etc wipe may help loosen edges of pieces of film that you may have missed while peeling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product damage *by S***4 on Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2022* When I peeled off the protective film this was dead center of the shelf. I thought it might ve been adhesive so I tried to scrub it off with a sponge but it's still there.
